Rhian O’Sullivan Claims Isle of Man Caliburn Women’s Masters Title

The Isle of Man Caliburn Women’s Masters delivered another high-quality day of action at the Villa Marina in Douglas as part of the Isle of Man Caliburn International Darts Festival. Proudly supported by Caliburn Darts, L-Style, the Isle of Man Tourism Board and the Isle of Man Steam Packet Company, the event attracted a strong field of players and produced some outstanding performances throughout the day.

After progressing through a competitive knockout draw, it was Rhian O’Sullivan who lifted the title, finishing the event in style with a superb display in the final.

Final

In the final, O’Sullivan faced Aileen De Graaf and produced a strong all-round performance to secure the title with a 5–2 victory. O’Sullivan averaged 87.29, while De Graaf averaged 78.70, as the Welsh star capped off an impressive run to become Isle of Man Caliburn Women’s Masters Champion.

Semi-Finals

O’Sullivan booked her place in the final with a confident 4–1 win over Lorraine Hyde, averaging 79.50.

In the other semi-final, Aileen De Graaf defeated Deta Hedman 4–2 to reach the final after another solid display.

Quarter-Finals

The quarter-finals produced a strong final four lineup:

  • Deta Hedman defeated Anca Zijlstra 4–1

  • Aileen De Graaf edged past Paige Pauling 4–3

  • Lorraine Hyde beat Louise Paterson 4–2

  • Rhian O’Sullivan produced one of the best displays of the round, defeating Eve Watson 4–0 with an 84.68 average

Tournament Highlights

The Women’s Masters featured quality darts from the early rounds right through to the closing stages. Among the standout performances were:

  • Rhian O’Sullivan, who produced a 98.56 average in the Top 32 during a dominant win over Dawn Shaw

  • Gemma Hayter, who fired in a superb 96.97 average in her Top 32 victory over Sophie Hadley

  • Aileen De Graaf, who showed consistency throughout the day on her run to the final

  • Lorraine Hyde and Deta Hedman, who both impressed in reaching the semi-finals

From the Top 128 onwards, the tournament showcased the depth of quality in the women’s game, with several close matches and big performances along the way.
