The Isle of Man Caliburn Youth tournament delivered a fantastic showcase of young darting talent at the Villa Marina in Douglas, as part of the Isle of Man Caliburn International Darts Festival. The event, proudly supported by Caliburn Darts, L-Style, the Isle of Man Tourism Board and the Isle of Man Steam Packet Company, featured an impressive field of youth players battling through group stages and knockout rounds for the title.
After a day of high-quality performances, it was Ben Townley who lifted the trophy following a strong run through the knockout stages.
Final
The final saw Ben Townley face Kaya Baysal in a high-quality match that featured excellent scoring from both players. Baysal actually produced the higher match average with 94.31, but Townley’s finishing proved decisive as he secured the title with a 5–2 victory, averaging 93.81.
Semi-Finals
Townley reached the final after a commanding 4–1 win over Archie Self, producing an impressive 97.40 average in one of the standout performances of the tournament.
On the other side of the draw, Kaya Baysal defeated Morgan Burke 4–2 to secure his place in the final.
Quarter-Finals
The quarter-finals saw several strong displays from the eventual finalists and semi-finalists:
